Chad (“Chad,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the chadcoach.ai website and the Chad AI fitness-coaching service (the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Coaching content you provide — the messages you send Chad, your goals, stats, training and nutrition details, and any progress photos you upload.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive limited billing details needed to manage your subscription.
- Usage and device data — basic information such as log data, device and browser type, and how you interact with the Service.
How we use your information
- Provide, personalize, and improve your coaching.
- Power the memory feature — when enabled, we keep a profile of durable facts (such as your goals, stats, and current plan) so Chad can remember you across conversations. You can turn this off or clear it anytime in your settings.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Provide support, keep the Service secure, and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
AI processing
To generate coaching responses and analyze progress photos, your messages and images are processed by trusted third-party AI providers on our behalf. We share only what is needed to produce a response, and our providers are bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.
Your progress photos
Photos you send are used for one purpose: coaching you and tracking your progress. They are not sold, not shared publicly, and not put on display anywhere. You can delete them by contacting us or closing your account.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service — for example, Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, AI providers, and email providers — and only as needed to provide the Service. We may also disclose information if required by law or in connection with a business transfer.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal or accounting requirements.
Your choices and rights

- Cancel your subscription at any time.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
